Pink Sauce Pasta Recipe

๐Ÿโœจ Pink Sauce Pasta Recipe โœจ๐Ÿ
Creamy, cheesy, and mildly tangy โ€” a fusion of red and white sauces!

๐Ÿงบ Ingredients:
200g pasta (penne or fusilli)
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp butter
4โ€“5 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1 medium tomato (pureed or finely chopped)
2 tbsp tomato ketchup or 1/4 cup tomato puree
1/2 tsp red chili flakes
1/2 tsp oregano/mixed herbs
1/2 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
1/2 cup fresh cream (or use milk + 1 tsp cornflour)
2 tbsp grated cheese (optional, for creaminess)
1/4 cup pasta water (saved from boiling pasta)

๐Ÿณ Steps to Make:
1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water.
2. Heat oil and butter in a pan. Add garlic and onion, sautรฉ till translucent.
3. Add tomato puree or chopped tomatoes. Cook until oil separates.
4. Add ketchup, chili flakes, oregano, pepper, and salt. Cook for 2โ€“3 minutes.

5. Add fresh cream (or milk-cornflour mix). Stir continuously.
6. Add pasta water to adjust consistency and let it simmer.
7. Add boiled pasta and cheese. Mix well till everything is coated.
8. Garnish with more herbs and serve hot!
